Second Language Acquisition:

 

 This course is designed to offer an introduction to various perspectives related to second language acquisition. Different theories and discussed and de-constructed, as well as a focus on implications for language teaching, particularly as they relate to the Korean context. Goals of the class are two-fold: 1) to enable students to develop an understanding of major forces driving and influencing L2 learning, and 2) to provoke critical thinking about aspects of second language teaching.
